Water play areas – let the water flow!

Please note: Autumn also marks the end of the season for the city's water playgrounds. The facilities will be closed until April 2026 and are being prepared for the cold months.

Monheim am Rhein has six water playgrounds of various sizes and with different play equipment. But all of them have one thing in common: They let you cool off – free of charge – and guarantee you’ll have great fun while doing so.

Children of all ages can romp around between the jets and pumps, have endless water fights, and build things in the mud play areas.

Some of the water play areas have cafés, restaurants, snack bars or kiosks nearby, so if you’re a bit hungry or thirsty, you’re never far from savory snacks, ice-cream, chilled soft drinks, coffee and cake.

Water, water, everywhere! Spread across an area of 320 square meters, water cannons, water tunnels and floor jets mean a whole load of fun for the entire family on warm days. A Monheim highlight!

This is where you can play with works of art! At the Social Playground Monheim, works of art become climbing objects, slides and swings. Who can manage to get through the water pavilion without getting wet?

The pirate playground, with a wooden ship and water play area, is great fun for all little pirates and buccaneers!

There are various play elements around for children of all ages in the Berlin Quarter. The highlight is a large climbing tower and a water playground with mud play area.
