Helau and cheers!

Did you know that Monheim am Rhein is a borderline town? It lies between Cologne and Düsseldorf, making it both a place where different dialects mingle – but also the border between where the traditional carnival cries are “Helau” (shouted in Düsseldorf) or “Alaaf” (in Cologne), where Kölsch beer (in Cologne) or Alt beer (in Düsseldorf) are brewed. Discover the traditional customs, the famously tolerant Rhineland attitude, and entertaining anecdotes about colorful carnival revelers and their beloved “liquid gold.” After the tour, you can stop somewhere  in the old part of town to actually taste it with your Monguide. (Drinks not included in the price)
