Every shopaholic’s heart beats a little faster at the annual St. Martin’s Market – because the autumnal market offers something for every taste, and not just culinary delights. At the atmospheric creative and design market, you can find unusual handmade gift ideas to stock up for Christmas – from upcycled products to colorful fabrics and bags, gourmet foodstuffs, jewelry and custom home accessories. The stores in Monheim are also open on the day of the event.

As you shop, you can feast your way through fancy food trucks and street food stalls and marvel at real alpacas. Many other seasonal and regional products are on offer at the autumn market in front of the City Hall and on Alte Schulstrasse.

The little ones will also be sure to enjoy themselves thanks to a diverse program of activities. The on-stage program ensures the right variety – with live music, prizes for the best lantern and the singing of St. Martin’s songs. Even St. Martin himself makes an appearance at the festival every year, dividing his cloak in front of the children’s big eyes and handing out small gifts.
