Heavy Horse Stud Farm

A genuine paradise for all horse lovers, Haus Bürgel is surrounded by large paddocks on whose lush meadows horses graze – including some sturdy Rhenish-German Coldblood horses. They belong to the stud farm run by the Reuter family, which has been committed to preserving this breed of horse for more than 100 years. Coldbloods are the traditional work animals of the Rhineland and can be seen in action on a covered wagon ride through the Urdenbacher Kämpe Nature Reserve. The carriage rides offered here are also a special treat for birthday and family celebrations and excursions by kindergartens and school classes.
