Starry Magic Christmas Market in the old town

For the first time, the Christmas market stretches from the Old Market to the Schelmenturm. Around 40 lovingly decorated craft huts, mostly offering handmade and unique gift ideas, await visitors. In addition to jewelry, wood and metalwork, children’s toys, paintings, and decorations, there will also be knitted and crocheted items. Fine foods, jams, spices, specialty coffees, and spirits will also be available for purchase.

Cozy atmosphere and local delights

You can also enjoy culinary Christmas delights at the local restaurants in the Old Town. In addition, about a dozen food vendors enrich the market and offer you a wide variety of culinary delights. But there’s one thing you shouldn’t miss during a visit to Monheim’s Old Town: the festive atmosphere. And so, the area between the historic Schelmenturm (open on December 12 and 13 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.) and the Alter Markt is transformed into a place for making new connections and reuniting with friends.
