Monheim Christmas Market 2025

Experience the Monheim Christmas Market during two long Advent weekends, featuring plenty of culinary delights and 60 craft huts filled with lovingly handcrafted products just waiting to be discovered. The market takes place from December 12 to 14 and December 19 to 21 in Monheim’s Old Town. With its many small stalls, twinkling lights, the scent of mulled punch, and a cozy atmosphere, visiting this beautifully decorated market has become an essential tradition of the Monheim Advent season.

Children can look forward to a visit from Santa Claus and a carousel.

Culinary delights at the Winter Chalet in Monheim am Rhein,
November 28, 2025 to January 11, 2026

The Monheim Mitte district also has plenty to offer for the palate. Right next to the ice-skating rink, the cozy two-level Winter Chalet invites guests to stay a while and enjoy a hot or cold drink and a variety of delicious treats. Here you can enjoy dishes such as currywurst with fries, kibbeling, or kale in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Goose Girl Christmas Lounge, December 11 to 14, 2025

From December 11 to 14, there will be a festive barbecue event on Rauthausplatz, with a variety of tasty foods on offer in a lounge-y atmosphere under festive lighting. Juicy cuts of meat will be sizzling on the grill while fish is smoked over open fire. Different walking acts and live music with a saxophone and guitar provide an element of surprise at the lounge.

Ice & Beats Party at the Winter Chalet, December 3, 10, and 17

The Ice & Beats party at the Winter Chalet in Monheim am Rhein brings an after-work vibe to the ice rink on three Wednesday evenings in December. Enjoy DJ sets, a dance floor, and winter drinks such as mulled gin or Feuerzangenbowle. From 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., celebrate in a cozy, festive atmosphere. Entry is free.
