Town-Country-River Tour

Cycle around Monheim am Rhein and experience the green oasis that lies between Cologne and Düsseldorf in its entirety. The Town-Country-River Tour is a circular cycle route that offers you the chance to explore the natural landscape around the districts of Monheim and Baumberg by bike. Ride along the Rhine through the bend of the Rhine, the "Rheinbogen," past Monbag Lake, through Knipprath Woods, into the unique floodplain landscape of the Urdenbacher Kämpe Nature Reserve. And many sights such as Marienburg Manor, St. Mary’s Chapel, the Roman fort of Haus Bürgel and several works of art line the way. You can see everything at a glance on our cycle map.

The distances are as follows:
10 km for the North Loop,
15 km for the South Loop and
25 km for the entire circuit.
